The great man above

I know that I haven't been to church like I should have and I regret it. I do go to Bible Study on Sunday nights but that isn't enough. Lately I have been going threw my journal of things that I have writen while I have been going to church and rereading it and just listening to what the Lord is telling me.

the journal that I write in when I'm with the Lord

 the Bible

 the journal and Bible

opened to my favorite verse Proverbs 17:17
The God is good! I don't know where I would be without him!!

Just a little crafty

and yes I know that I misspelled my name...I don't know where the other 'A' is

just a little brighter with white paper behind

I really want to scrapbook since I have a lot of pictures that I have printed out before digital cameras became 'big.' My aunt, Karen, is a BIG scrapbook person and I mean she scrapbooks for EVERYTHING! I hope that when I get married and have kids I can really get into scrapbooking.

 the scrapbook and other "stuff"

I guess we will see how helpful this book comes when we do start planning

a girl's best-friend ~ well kinda ~ guess you have to have letters to do a scrapbook

I had paint, paper and letters ~ so why not put them together?!
Even though it was a chili outside I still managed to still paint and come up with something!

 getting ready to paint

everything lined up outside so that I can paint them

didn't even start and already had pain on my hands

after I painted them ~ and yes it was hard to tell where the letters were under the blue

the paint that was left over ~ guess I pored too much

How we met

I know that life has it's ups and downs and no one is perfect (I'm not saying I am.) But I know that God puts two people together for a reason. I that God has put me with the person I am truly suppose to be with the rest of my list; I couldn't be happier.
Here is the story of how we (Matthew and I) met:

The way Anna remembers it:
It was February of 2009 and I was just checking my email and never really was looking for anything until something caught my eye. There was an email from true.com and at the time I had no clue if I could find someone that would date me and love me for me. I went back to the email and then clicked on the link. I signed up for it and once I got into it I had no clue how everything worked but the chat room part. I just clicked on the chat room and all I said was "hello everyone, I am new to this and would really like someone to talk to." A few minutes later I got in IM from someone (Matthew) and we just started talking from there. I asked him if he had MSN Messenger and he was downloading it that very minute so him and I could talk some more. Once he downloaded it we both got to talking on MSN Messenger and just hit it off and it felt like we knew each other longer that we did. The next morning on February 4 I texted him saying "good morning" and then he sent me one back and we just texted all day till he got home from work. When Matthew got home from work he asked if he could call me, he called me within the next 5 minutes. While we were on the phone he told me that he knew how to play the guitar and the very first song he played was "It's Your Love" by Tim McGraw and that was when I really fall in love with him. On March 14th of 2009 Matthew had some vacation time that he had to take and it was Spring Break for us and he wanted to come visit me and get to know me more in Texas. When I got to the airport my stomach was turning because I had no clue what was going to happen. I had told him to text me when he got off the plane and I would let him know where I was. He got off and met me where I told him. I texted him and told him that I had to go use the bathroom and that I will be out in just a minute. I came out of the bathroom and he was turned the other way from me and once he turned around there I was. From that moment it just seamed like we have known each other for years. From the time Matthew and I saw each other in person for the first time we had really thought about moving in with each other so that we would get to know each other more. On May 13th I flew to Memphis, TN and met Matthew, his grandmother and his grandfather at the airport; of course we were really excited to see each other. After we left the airport all 4 of us went to his Annie Mac's house and just hang out and Matthew and Annie Mac took me around Memphis. Later that night we drove Booneville, where Matthew is from. I met his mom and dad that night and then the next day met his brothers. On May 16th Matthew and I got up early and drove back to Texas where him and I started a new chapter in our life. And the rest is history.

The way Matthew remembers it:
Well it was February 2009 and I had just been searching around on the internet and came across a website called true.com. At first I was hesitant about joining the site but decided to anyways. My first thought about the site was "I'm never going to meet anybody here." Well that thought turned out to be wrong. On the night of February 3rd I was just on the site searching around and decided to get on the chat room and see what people were talking about. Little did I know my life was about to change. As I sat at my computer reading what people were talking about something caught my eye. It was Anna wanting to chat with somebody. Well me being me I decided to chat with her. As we were getting to know each other we decided to switch over to MSN and chat there. After about two or three hours of chatting i decided to go on to bed since i had to work the next day. Well the next morning about six o’clock I woke to a text message from Anna saying “Good Morning!!” After that message I just knew that day wasn’t going to be like any other day. As the day progressed I went on with my day to day duties not even thinking about Anna. When Five O’clock came I received another message from her. From there the two of us just talked for the rest of the night. As the night went on I grabbed my guitar and decided to play her a song. The song I chose to play was “It’s Your Love” by Tim McGraw. On March 14th of that year we officially met in person, when I took my vacation time that I had and decided to spend it getting to know her. After that week was over and I had returned home to Mississippi, all I wanted to do was just get back to Texas so I could be with Anna. On May 13th Anna came to Mississippi to meet my family, since I had met hers back in March. While in Mississippi I showed her around some of Memphis, TN and some of Booneville. On May 16th I moved to Texas to be with her. From that moment on I have loved every moment that I have got to spend with Anna.
